HOW TO SAVE CONTACTS TO GMAIL

Method 1 : Backup contacts to Google drive .


Every android phone comes with backup feature that you can turn on and off just in case you want backup data from phone to Google drive .

For this case we shall backup contacts to Google drive by following the steps included below:-

Open your android phone or tablet and go to Settings .



2. Under Settings , Go to System and select Backup( the steps may vary depending on your android version )


3. In Backup ensure that your Back up to Google Drive is turned on . You can also change or remove your backup gmail location under Account .




So if in any cases you lose your phone to theft or misplacement , you can easily retrieve Google backup contacts on your new phone .

With this method , you don’t need to copy one contact at a time to transfer it to a new phone or vise versa .

Method 2 : Save contacts to gmail using phone contacts settings

In this method , we shall see how you can easily save contacts to gmail using the default contact list settings . To use this method , simply follow the procedure below :-

Navigate to your Contact list and open it .

Tap the Menu icon ( three vertical dots in the right upper corner) .

Select Import & Export Contacts option from menu .

Select from available export and import options according to your choice and Google will automatically backup your phone contacts on gmail .
