1 Before you start
This guide will show you how to retrieve your contacts from your Google account if your last phone was a smartphone.

If your last phone was a non smartphone, you can copy your contacts from the SIM card.

Jump to step 10 in this guide, if you want to copy your contacts from the SIM card.

2 Select Apps

3 Select Settings



4 Scroll to and select Accounts

5 Select Google

6 Select your account



7 Turn on Sync Contacts and select MORE

8 Select Sync now

9 Your contacts from Google will now be synced to your Galaxy


10 To copy your contacts from the SIM card, return to the Apps menu and select Contacts

11 Select MORE

12 Select Settings



13 Select Import/Export contacts

14 Select IMPORT

15 Select SIM card



16 Select your Google account

17 Check the All checkbox

18 Select DONE



19 Your contacts will be saved to your Google account and saved to your phone the next time Google is synced.
